Assignment 1 - ReTouch

For this assignment you will be retouching a photograph of yourself or someone close to yourself in Photoshop. The image should have some cosmetic blemishes (superficial issues rather than large compositional ones.) The goal is to improve the image while keeping it realistic.

Find or Shoot a photo of yourself or someone close to you, at a minimum of 4” x 6” at 300 ppi.

Mark, using a layer and a red brush, the areas you intend to retouch.

Retouch your photo using non destructive editing methods (masks, layers, smartfilters, etc...). Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, Patch Tool, Filters, Blending Modes, Masks, Hue/Saturation Adjustments, etc… may all be helpful. Clearly label your layers and do not destroy your pixels.

****One layer should be the original untouched photo and one must be the red mark-up layer****
